Derek Belyea   Education & Qualifications Specific Experience

Range of Experience   Since joining GNA as an Associate in 1996, Derek has completed numerous assignments involving systems for enterprise resource planning, reporting and business intelligence. In addition to project management assignments he has conducted feasibility studies, performed costing studies, advised strategic IT planning projects, designed project control and review systems and performed post implementation reviews. He brings to each assignment an enthusiasm for delivering outstanding results and involving client staff so that project benefits are retained in the long term. For the eight years prior to joining GNA Derek was an independent consultant serving clients across Western Canada. Assignments included the implementation of collaborative communications systems, document management systems, workflow applications and financial budgeting and planning systems. Before joining the consulting industry, Derek directed the finance and accounting functions of a wholesale forest products company with operations across Canada. Prior to that he was Vice President Finance for a real estate investment firm with holdings in Western Canada, California and Texas. Derek's business career started in Vancouver as a financial auditor and management consultant with a predecessor firm of Deloitte + Touche. to top
