Led the strategic renewal and business planning session for a non-profit organization, creating a plan that leads to financial self-sustainability.
 
Compassionately and effectively managed bargaining unit and management downsizing programs for dozens of team members.

With TELUS, Sheila was the Regional Operations Manager (BC) from 2001–2003. Responsible for Centrex Application Design, Systems Engineering, System Application Design, Customer Application Training and Customer Contract Maintenance, managing a $6M operating budget with 70+ staff. She was also the acting Director from Jul 2002–Jan 2003, managing a $15M budget with 140+ staff.
 
With TELUS, Sheila was the Business Manager – Customer Solutions from 1999–2001. Responsible for 3 Customer Application Training team (Calgary, Edmonton & Vancouver) and two Executive Briefing Centres. Managed a $6M operating and a $2M capital budget with a team of 70+ staff.
 
With BCTEL, Sheila was the Manager of Applications Training from 1997–1999. Directly managed a large team of technical instructors throughout BC’s major centres (Vancouver, Victoria, Prince George & Kelowna), including 20 full-time employees and 8–15 contractors.
 
With BCTEL, Sheila was a Systems Engineering Specialist from 1995–1997. Responsible for: budgeting, engineering and planning of processes and infrastructure to support the central office based voicemail network; including capital project business case preparation, investment committee presentations and project management of all installs; managed a $10M capital budget.
 
With BCTEL, Sheila was a Marketing Coordinator from 1994–1995. Responsible for researching, creating, implementing and evaluating new marketing programs for residential customers.
 
With BCTEL, Sheila was an Application Training Consultant from 1990–1994. Responsible for assessing training requirements, designing and delivering external customer courses on BCTEL products and services in both the data/network portfolio and telephony portfolio.
