Brent's recent experience includes selection, functional architecture and project management responsibilities on a large, complex PeopleSoft enterprise resource planning (ERP) project for a major Canadian airline. Brent's roles included:

Project manager responsible for implementing the Pension Administration system. The system consisted of components of PeopleSoft's HRMS/Payroll application and a combination of third party vertical market packages. Led a team of sixteen people including client representatives and full time third party consultants.

Project manager responsible for implementing PeopleSoft's Asset Management module. Developed and negotiated a design that minimized changes and allowed for a rapid implementation

Senior functional analyst responsible for the setup, change control, testing and implementation of PeopleSoft's client/server Accounts Payable module.

Played a major role in the design, development and testing of various complex interfaces to and from the Accounts Payable module. The system issues payments to over 20,000 vendors and employees.

Was a member of the team that re-engineered many of the accounts payable electronic commerce business processes including the introduction of expanded use of EDI and EFT.

Participated in the software selection and evaluation process.

In addition to working on the ERP project for the airline Brent has:

Managed the development of a disaster recovery plan for an organization that monitors credit unions in British Columbia.

Managed the selection and implementation of multi-store point of sale system for the student association of a large educational organization.

Managed the selection of an accounting system for a manufacturer of submarines for the tourist industry.

Performed a post implementation review of a client/server student billing and administration system.

Developed technology strategies for a professional organization, a career transition consulting firm, an electronics firm, and a professional accounting firm.

Developed and implemented a budget monitoring system for the MIS department of a large public company.

Analyzed and developed functional accounting requirements and implemented systems, including, accounts receivable and billing, for a group of forty medical doctors.

Managed the installation of an accounts receivable system for a division of a large public company.

Installed a multi-user inventory and distribution system for a wholesale distributor of footwear.

Managed the implementation of a financial and manufacturing system for a specialty chemical manufacturer.

Managed Price Waterhouse's J. D. Edward's service bureau. The service bureau provided computerized accounting services to a wide range of businesses located in the Metro Toronto area.

Developed a microcomputer-consulting group supporting the small business clients and internal microcomputer requirements for the Toronto office of Price Waterhouse.

Conducted EDP audit control procedure reviews for a number of companies.

Written several articles on computerized accounting and management information systems.
